Welcome back to the party! Today’s guest is Angela Walters of Quilting Is My Therapy.
Angela is known as one of quilting’s top designers and teachers. Her quilting designs are endlessly creative, fun and fresh. She also has a friendly, approachable teaching style that makes it possible for anyone to learn how to machine quilt.
She joined our lineup of top designers in Optical Illusions: Innovative Designs for the Modern Quilter to talk about how to quilt an optical illusion quilt. These quilts have special considerations when it comes to the quilting. Angela offers many ideas on how to accentuate the designs without diminishing the integrity of the design. Many of her ideas can translate into regular quilts, too.
Head over to her blog to see what she has to say about quilting optical illusions. Before you leave, though, comment on this post for a chance to win a bundle of her new fabric line, Athena. One comment per person, please. Two winners will be announced Monday.
And don’t forget to go to yesterday’s post to enter our contest for a chance to win a copy of the book. Answer the question posed in the post to enter. Again, one comment per person, please. A winner will be announced Thursday.
The drawings have ended, and we have named winners. Thanks to everyone who commented!
And join us and our guests for the rest of the blog tour:
